'Goblin Hall' still on sale

As 'Goblin Hall' has moved off the front page of my blog I thought I'd mention again that it's for sale on my website. Only £3 with free postage to the UK and Europe. Add £1 for the rest of the world. I've still got lots of copies of 'Great Deeds Against the Dead' Parts 1 &2 there too, and some copies of 'Gin Palace 1' though that one has been selling well. Buy any three and ask for any another one for free. (Please put a note on the order of which one you would like for free). Thanks

'Goblin Hall' came back from the printers today so it's now on sale. They are £3 each, with free postage in the UK & Europe, rest of the world please add £1 postage. I've put them in my paypal shop on my website or contact me to pay by cheque.

I'm doing Helmshore Farmers Market on Sunday, the weather forecast is bad though. I will have to see how selling ice cream in the rain will go... I've got a gazebo to put up to keep the rain off.

I was hoping to go to Caption at the end of the month and sell 'Goblin Hall' there, but I am too skint so am having to not bother again. Hopefully I'll go there next year.

Where is Goblin Hall?

It's the question literaly no-one is asking...

Well, it's at the printers now, here's a photo of the proof copy. The printers are very busy at the moment but they have promised it me before the end of July, hopefully it'll come sooner. I asked for it printed at American comic size, but as I had drawn it at A3 as usual, it has ended up as a new size, half way between A5 and A4. I like the new size, maybe it'll catch on. There is too much detail (especially battle scenes) on the pages for them to be readable at A5 so it seems a good idea. Hopefully it'll stand out more on my table, but not be a very hard sell, like any comic that's A4 sized has been for me. Once it turns up I'll be selling it here.

First Two Pages of 'Goblin Hall'

Here's the first two pages of my new comic 'Goblin Hall'. I'm going to send it to the printers tomorrow. I'm getting it printed American comic sized to see what effect that will have on my sales... at least it will let you see the elaborate battle scenes without a magnifying glass. It's 36 pages, black and white with colour covers.

Hurray it's Captain Armada. He brings children books.

I've spent the last couple of days rubbing out all the pencils from the 36 pages of 'Goblin Hall'. Now I have very tired hands and my rubbers have all turned into dust. But now it is finished so I can send it to the printers when I return from Canada. It's TCAF in eight days so I am very excited! I hope it goes well.

When I get back I will be skint so will start my ice cream business going straight away and then start a new comic, don't know what it will be about yet. I am wondering about whether to do another issue of 'Gin Palace' in time for Leeds in November. What does everyone think? It might be better to do just one a year if everyone is busy on their own comics... I don't know.

This is the cover for 'Goblin hall'. It's nearly finished, just going to go round the letters again in black and then the comic is finished. I'll bring it out in June.

'Goblin Hall' Nearly Finished

Goblin Hall is nearly finished now. I am on the very last page (number 36). Here's a drawing of an army for you to look at. I'm just going to do the front and back covers next week and then publish it after Toronto, in June probably. I'll have to make some money first so I can afford the printing.

On the ice cream front I have made blackberry, rhubarb and crumble, rhubarb on it's own, vanilla, lemon meringue and lemon flavours this week.

Here's a couple of the main characters in 'Goblin Hall'. It's going to be a 32 or so page comic I think with the whole story in one issue. I think people like it when they can buy the whole story in one go better than buying the installments. Will have to wait and see...

Here's a panel from 'Goblin Hall' as I've not posted anything for a while. It's going fairly well, I've got going again after I got stuck for a few days, and I am now on page 11. My food standards inspection got cancelled next week but has now been re-arranged for next Wednesday. I'll be glad when that is out of the way.

These badly drawn animals made me laugh, from my new story 'Goblin Hall'. I especially like the cow looking from behind the wall in the first panel. Still needs some grey tones adding, I'm going to do them with my new grey brush pen I got the other week. I didn't know you could get grey ones.
