'The Magic Paddock'

 Here's the start of the second story from my comic in progress, 'Awful Scottish Folktales'. A paddock is a toad apparently. I am drawing the third story this week, its a lot longer than the first two. I'll try and make this comic twenty four pages long.

Here's the start of what will be my next comic after the space pyramids one, 'Awful Scottish Folktales'. They are all from a book of unpleasant Scottish tales my brother bought. This story is called 'The Milk White Doo'. The stories are full of murder, cannabalism and deaths, so they must be for the little ones.

I am broke at the moment but as soon as I make some money I'll send one of my pile of finished comics to the printer. Might be a while as the weather is ruining my markets at the moment.

I have drawn the first two pages of my newest comic now, it's called 'Awful Scottish Folktales'. It will be a bunch of short stories retold from a horrible book for children.

 Here's another half page from my space exploration comic in progress. It's finished now, I drew the front cover yesterday. I still need to think of a name for it though.

I can start my next comic soon. It will be called 'Awful Scottish Fairytales' or 'Folktales' maybe, and will be adaptations of some horrible Scottish folktales I read in a old book recently. They are very gruesome and unpleasant.

 I've still got way too many copies of my early graphic novel / comic book 'The Storytellers' in boxes under my bed. New Exploration Comic

 Here's the first page of a new story I've started drawing. I wonder what its about? 

It's nice to be drawing again. I get grumpy if I'm not drawing. 

Hmmm

 I've done a little bit of drawing now but I've not started a new comic yet. I am waiting for a good idea. Here's a couple of drawings I have done from my walks. Maybe I will be able to use them for something in the future.

 

News

 I've been having a couple of weeks off the drawing recently. 

I have cleaned all the pages up on the computer of my latest comic 'Like & Subscribe' which was a long boring job. Once I make some money I'll send that to the printers. 

I'm off into town this morning to buy some new paper so hopefully I'll get started on some new drawing. Here's the first page of 'Like & Subscribe' all cleaned up.

A Walk on Alderley Edge

 We went for a walk yesterday round Alderley Edge. We haven't been for a long time, still worth going. It was very cold but the steep paths warmed us up.

A Fancy Tea

 We made a fancy tea last night. We made three kinds of gyoza and then used a packet of paste to make a Chonqqing Mountain City Hot Pot. It was as hot as it looks. It was very nice but a bit too hot, and with a lot of fat. The gyoza worked very well. 

New Ink for 2024

 I went to the Chinese Cultural Centre on the third floor above Wing Yip supermarket in Manchester yesterday and bought a new bottle of Chinese ink. Its nice and black, good stuff. I use Chinese ink for all the blacks and greys in my comics. Its very cheap and very black and waterproof. The last couple of bottles I had lasted five or six years so this bigger bottle should last for years too.

 Here's the wrap around cover for my scary comic. I'm going to call it 'Like & Subscribe' unless I find a famous comic called that. I'll get it printed once I make some money somehow.
