Review of 'Its a Man's Life in the Ice Cream Business'

Kyle Baddeley - Silent V #5

Kyle Baddeley has brought out issue 5 of his series 'Silent V'. It's a bumper thirty page issue with a one off back up story called 'Flotsam and Jetsam' as well as the continuing story from the other issues. The main story is getting near to the end now and I am very interested to see how it all ends. His drawings getting better and better as this series goes along. Here's some reviews of the other issues from Optical Sloth.

He's done a little review of my 'It's a Man's Life in the Ice Cream Business' here on his blog as we swop comics, and would like to review other comics if people would like to send him them.

No. 26

'The Gods Must be Bastards' made it onto Rob Clough's Top 30 Minicomics of last year at The Comics Journal. It's a very good list. I really want that 'Thickness' which is at no. 1

Ice Cream Comic News

I'm drawing the markets from last January at the moment for my second ice cream comic. It's not a lot of fun as they were very quiet markets where it constantly rained. I hope this January is a bit better.

Here's a page from my new ice cream comic as I haven't posted any artwork for a while. If anyone would like to buy it it's for sale on my website, only £1.50.

I haven't been able to do any drawing for a couple of weeks, luckily I've finished everything for Thoughtbubble so hopefully that'll go well. I am waiting to think of a decent idea and suffering with the writers block or whatever.

'Ice Cream Recipe' Posters

I'm making these posters of my ice cream recipe cartoon to sell at Thoughtbubble. They are A3 and I am colouring them all in by hand. It takes a while but they look nice. I've made ten and so far I've coloured three this morning.
