'Hollywood on the Croal' Now on Sale

 My latest comic 'Hollywood on the Croal' is now back from the printers. 

Join us on a guided walk as we visit the newly discovered reaches of the River Croal. From the new houses springing up along it's banks, to Bolton's thriving and glamorous film and television industry and then on to the beauties of nature, we will explore new facets of this fascinating river and town.

With a new map and special guests. 

40 pages, black and white, A5 sized. £4.80 with free postage included to the UK. 

This is a stand alone comic so you don't have to have read my earlier comic 'On The Banks of the Mighty Croal'. 

Proof Copy of 'Hollywood on the Croal'

 Here's the proof copy of 'Hollywood on the Croal' that I got today. I found one spelling mistake I'd made. Except for that everything looks great so it should get printed soon. I'll put it up for sale as soon as I've got it back from the printers.

 I was going to sell it at Bradford Zine Fair in October but I've had to cancel my stall for that. I was going to sell black peas and soup at the Wigan Diggers Festival last weekend, but it was cancelled by the council at the last minute because of the Queen's death, so I was left with loads of peas and soup ingredients and no money. I've since been offered a new event to try and sell my food at, but it clashed with the Zine Fest. The Zine fest organiser was very kind and refunded me.

New Croal Comic Page One

 Here's the first page in progress of my new Croal comic. I've finished all the drawing so now I've started on all the words and layout. Also I've drawn a new map. 

Return to the Mighty Croal

 I've started work on a new sort of sequel to my old comic 'On The Banks of the Mighty Croal'. I found a mile long new part of the Croal that I never walked along the first time. Exciting. I will make this new comic a stand alone story so don't worry if you don't have the first part. The new comic will also have a bunch of ideas I've had about drawing all the TV Filming that is always going on round here.

Here's some of my photo references from walking the Croal on Monday. I am still finishing my story with the potato people, it is nearly at the end now so I am working on both things at once.
