'Crowthorn' Comic Now on Sale

 My latest comic 'Crowthorn' is back from the printers today and is now on sale. It's a 36 page A5 black and white comic. This comic tells the story of Crowthorn, a small village near my house that was built by orphans in Victorian times. It's more history based than my Croal comics. I went for a walk round the village as it is now, and drew most of the buildings and views.

Proof Copy of my 'Crowthorn' Comic

 I got the proof copy of my 'Crowthorn' comic today. Everything looks good so now on to the printing. I am getting near the end of my dragons comic now, it will be a short little one. 

'Crowthorn' Off to the Printers

 I've sent my 'Crowthorn' comic off to the printers now. Next step is to get the print proof and then the printing. It's going to be A5, 36 pages, black and white.

Crowthorn Memorials at Edgworth Methodist Church

 I was on a walk round Edgworth the other week and went into the churchyard at the Methodist Church to see the Crowthorn related memorials. Here they are - there's the mass grave memorial and the War Memorial with all the NCHO men who were from the Childrens Home.

 Here's the front and back covers for my Crowthorn comic, unless I change them later. I have scanned all the comic, redone all the wonky lettering, which was annoying me, and now I'm cleaning all the pages. I would have got it printed soon but I had to get a bunch of plumbing fixed in my house, so now it'll be a while.

Crowthorn Comic

 I've started drawing a new comic. It's a bit like the Croal ones, but its set in the village of Crowthorn, which was built by orphans. I'm going to draw it all and then do a big load of research. I took a lot of photos to work from when we went for a walk there on a nice sunny spring day. Here's the first page. 

If you are wondering where all my other comics are, I am a bit skint at the moment, but hopefully I'll send the Medieval one to print in May...
