Hi Dave. It's just practicing, not planning for anything special. I do want my next book to look different though but I don't know what it'll be about yet.
I like these. What did you use? Is it paint with marker outlines?
They are done with watercolour and my pentel brush pen, or with black watercolour on some of them.

It's hard to learn how to use colour. (actual colours better than this due to scanning)
