First World War Era Cartoons by James Calvert

My mum's got a little sketchbook of these First World War era cartoons that were drawn by my great-great uncle James Calvert. He died some time soon after the war, possibly of influenza. At the front of the book is written 'Our Jim's sketches out of the newspapers' so whether he just copied the faces from the newspaper or copied the whole cartoons from them I don't know but I thought I'd put them up here on the internet as they are very interesting.
